Savage Launches 110 Ultralite Elite Rifles

Savage Arms is proudly announcing the launch of the new 110 Ultralite Elite bolt action rifle. Savage is again partnering with proven parts manufacturers to deliver a premium rifle. The barrel has been expertly crafted by PROOF Research specifically for this purpose-driven rifle. The barrel is carbon fiber wrapped over a stainless steel barrel. The chassis of the rifle is an MDT HNT26 chassis, MDT is an industry leader in chassis systems consistently delivering value and accuracy to shooters. This chassis is made of a magnesium alloy rifle base with a carbon fiber forend, a carbon fiber pistol grip, and a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock that folds. The new 110 Ultralite Elite rifle is incredibly lightweight making it perfect for higher-altitude hunts and longer treks in search of big game.

The 110 Ultralite Elite Rifles weigh in around five to six pounds depending on the caliber. They are designed to combat elevation and elements while still maintaining the quality performance of a factory blueprinted Savage 110 action. The MDT HNT26 folding buttstock reduced the overall length of the rifle by nine inches when folded, letting the rifle be easily packed for backcountry transport. These rifles are available now and have an MSRP of $3299.
