Introducing the New Deckers X Lab MAX 40 SPSK Winter Boot
GOLETA, Calif. – January 9, 2024. With the colder months still ahead, Deckers X Lab today launches the MAX 40 SPSK. Blending the comfort and style of street sneakers with the coziness of a slipper and the performance feel of an athletic shoe, the MAX 40 SPSK (sheepskin) emerges as the ultimate mix of comfort, warmth, and flexibility for your everyday pursuits.
Available in both a Tall and Mid height, the MAX 40 SPSK is lined with 10mm of premium shearling. This plush interior and sueded exterior ensures a cozy feel on any terrain, while delivering exceptional thermoregulation to combat chilly days.
In addition to high level comfort, the sheepskin upper is built onto an ultra-sized midsole made of next-generation super foam for responsiveness and performance. Other features include an ATPU Anatomical midsole insole for maximizing coziness with every step. The extra grip Vibram outsole offers confidence in each step, and adapts to variable conditions and terrains.
Designed with coziness at its core, these durable water-repellent boots embody the essence of slipper-like comfort with the ability to go beyond the mailbox for everyday exploration.
The boots will come in gender-specific mid and tall options both for around $280. While these boots look extra comfy and quite water repellent and warm, the suede and ballistic nylon upper don’t seem cut out for super heavy tasks and these boots seem like their better made for snowy conditions in or about town instead of out in the muck.
