Athlon Optics introduced the Cronus ATS 35M-400 Thermal Monocular at SHOT 2024, which is a compact, hand-held thermal imaging unit. .

Equipped with the ability to detect animal heat signatures from a distance of up to 3000 yards and recognize them at distances of up to 1100 yards, the monocular is designed for ease of use in nocturnal wildlife observation and hunting scenarios. The thermal monocular also includes hot spot tracking features that allow users to keep track of their target in the dark.

One of the standout attributes of this Athlon Optics release is its extended battery life; the Cronus ATS 35M-400 is reported to operate for more than nine hours on a single charge, which enhances its field usability during long outings or overnight expeditions.
