The NEW Berkley Freshwater Magic Swimmer
Eugene L. 10.15.24
Berkley has brought out its latest version of the Freshwater Magic Swimmer hard bait, these have been specifically designed for targeting aggressive schooling freshwater predators. This new freshwater version of the hard bait delivers the same revolutionary design and action that anglers want but now in freshwater-optimized colors and sizes. While the magic swimmer has been used around the world in the salt, a lot of freshwater anglers noticed how well it imitated herring in larger lakes and reservoirs such as Lake Hartwell, Lake Lanier, and Lake Murray. These anglers quickly realized how effective these baits were and started repainting saltwater Magic Swimmers into freshwater patterns. But you no longer have to do that anymore. Now for freshwater use the Freshwater Magic swimmer comes in eight freshwater color/pattern options.
The jointed Freshwater Magic Swimmer is designed with a tapered nose and humpbacked head that cuts through the water column to produce a realistic fleeing action as you work the lure. This along with a forward-weighted design lets anglers fish it at various retrieve speeds without blowing out. Perfect for targeting schoolies in the spring, summer or fall; or fishing blowing up on schools of bait as they spawn in the late spring. These are going to be available this month, and come with a new 110 fast sink model. This lets anglers fish a smaller profile lure while still keeping the wait they want to keep baits deep and fast without blowing out.
