Fish Itch Announces 12 Days of Itchmas

   11.23.11

Portland, OR– Each week, the Fish Itch website offers a crazy deal on fishing tackle and accessories – at least 50% off the regular retail price – and donates a portion of the proceeds to conservation efforts. Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Fish Itch will switch to daily deals for the “12 Days of Itchmas” beginning Dec. 5.

In the giving spirit of the holidays, one lucky Fish Itch member will win all 12 daily deals – free of charge.

“That’s a prize worth about $400,” says Teeg Stouffer, Fish Itch CEO. “As much as we love giving people great deals on fishing stuff and donating part of our proceeds to conservation, it’s a really special opportunity to give great products away for free.”

To win, people just have to sign up for Fish Itch before Monday, Dec. 5. Registration is free and the drawing is at 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 5.

For each day of Itchmas, starting on Dec. 5, a different fishing product will be up for grabs on the Fish Itch website. The products will be available in very limited quantities, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. Approximately 20 percent of net proceeds from each sale is donated to stewardship programs through the nonprofit organization Recycled Fish.

The daily deals will include products for both avid and casual anglers, from fly anglers to ice fishermen, bass bums to walleye warriors – even saltwater sportsmen! Featured will be Castalia Outdoors fly fishing combos, Greenfish hoodies, Tru-Turn Blood-Red hooks, TrikFish Triple Fish Original Camo line, Fish Sticks lure enhancer, Grabber Warmers, Ventafish tools, Wright & McGill gloves, Kahtoola MICROspikes, Fishhound premium memberships, Monomaster tools and Reel Weeds products.

There is no cost to sign up for Fish Itch or the 12 Days of Itchmas giveaway at http://fishitch.com/12-days-of-itchmas/.
