Prescribed Burn Training Workshop Set for Lincoln, Nebraska

Lincoln, NE – Pheasants and Quail Forever and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host a prescribed burn training workshop Jan. 12 in Lincoln. Landowners will learn how to use prescribed burns to improve forage, control eastern redcedar trees and improve wildlife habitat.
The workshop is scheduled for 3:30-9 p.m. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension office at 444 Cherrycreek Road.
