ROCKIN’ Utah Kicks Off New Year

   01.03.12

Salt Lake City, UT – If you’re a novice to Utah’s great outdoors, make a resolution to start exploring in Utah’s state parks. Join Utah State Parks and Recreation for their Reaching Out Connecting Kids In Nature (ROCKIN’) Utah Program.

ROCKIN’ Utah is designed to get those who are new to recreation outdoors and participating in recreation activities they have never tried.

Due to the popularity of past programs, the following guidelines have been established for this season:

  • Families are welcome to sign up for ROCKIN’ Utah events for which they have never before participated with us
  • Event prices are per person and vary depending on activity
  • Families may sign up for as many as four events in a calendar year
  • New events include ROCKIN’ Alumni Reunions and Family Camping Mentoring

Beginning January 10, reservations can be made for the following winter events by calling 801-538-7428. ROCKIN’ Alumni Reunions and Family Camping Mentoring events will be scheduled later this year.
