Hydrapak Names David Kim Director of Operations

Hydrapak, a leading global supplier of active-lifestyle hydration equipment, is pleased to announce the promotion of David Kim to Director of Operations & Communication. The move will enable the company to keep up with growing demand from a variety of outdoor equipment manufacturers for custom hydration solutions.
“David has shown excellent aptitude with factory communications, inventory management, and logistics,” said Hydrapak President Matt Lyon, “Elevating him to the role of Director will enhance our capability to provide hydration systems to brands across the outdoor industry, while meeting their unique logistic and communication goals.”
Kim will act as the primary liaison between various decision makers internally at Hydrapak, production facilities in China, Vietnam, and Taiwan, and with Hydrapak’s growing list of OEM clients and International Distributors. He will also continue to manage the process and production of all marketing materials, including photography, design and production.
To further augment the company’s hydration expertise in the development of new products and meet the increasing demand for custom hydration systems, Hydrapak has hired Junior Engineer Georgiy “George“ Patrikeyev to ensure these opportunities are fully realized.
Patrikeyev, an avid mountain biker hailing from Santa Cruz, holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from UC Berkeley and will work closely with Hydrapak’s Director of Engineering and Product Development Sam Lopez to develop innovative solutions for Hydrapak’s OEM partners.
