Boat Launch Reopened at Louisiana’s South Toledo Bend State Park

Effective immediately, the boat launch at South Toledo Bend State Park near Anacoco is open to boat traffic. The boat launch closed this summer due to extremely low water levels at the Toledo Bend Reservoir.
The boat launch at North Toledo Bend State Park near Zwolle has also been reopened. (correction)
The water level at the Toledo Bend Reservoir remains below the recommended safe level so all water recreation participants should avoid excessive speed and exercise caution when navigating waters outside of normal boat lanes.
