Indiana’s Falls of the Ohio State Park Hosts Cabin Fever Festival

Beat the mid-winter blues at the Falls of the Ohio State Park Cabin Fever Festival, Feb. 18.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and has special guests and activities for the whole family. Some activities will take place inside the interpretive center and others will be outside.
Special guests include Emily Goldstein, the Louisville Zoo’s Arctic Ambassador, who will speak about polar bears; National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Callahan, who will display a tornado machine; and representatives from Quest Outdoors, who will be on hand to discuss proper dress for winter sports and activities.
Activities include naturalist-led nature hikes, an outdoor scavenger hunt, instruction on backyard bird habitats and bird identification, and making pet rock animals.
All Cabin Fever Festival activities are free with a paid admission to the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center. Admission to the interpretive center is $5 for ages 19 and older and $2 for ages 2-18.
