A Portable Cooler Big Enough to Fit Your Big Game

“You’ve got to understand the process of how important it is to allow an animal to go through rigor mortis and not actually quarter it up,” says Trophy Bag Kooler inventor Steve Glass. Quartering it up in the field could potentially make it taste gamey and ruin those natural flavors and tenderness in your harvest.
In an interview with Western States Sportsman at SHOT Show 2012 in Las Vegas, Craig Mann asked Glass what his Trophy Bag Kooler was all about and why Glass dropped his career in insurance and estate planning to fuel a start-up product meant to fill that large game-transport gap in the hunting industry.
If you ever wondered why your harvest tasted too gamey and tough after preparation, then perhaps you weren’t following a set of certain guidelines for transporting and keeping your harvest. Glass was happy to speak about his coolers and the new products he unveiled this year.
