Savage Outdoors Impresses at Turkey Hunting World Championship on Sportsman Channel

Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is honored to give viewers an inside look at one of the most competitive Turkey Hunting World Championships in the country on Savage Outdoors. Mike Stroff and Jamie Satterfield are invited to compete in the Clay County Turkey Hunting World Championship in Henrietta, Texas and they do NOT disappoint in their quest for the elusive turkey. The guys battled extreme conditions with STRONG winds and recent wild fires in the area which made finding the birds a challenge. Despite the obstacles, the team from Savage Outdoors delivered the “goods”. Watch this intense drama play out on Thursday, March 1 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
The swirling winds sweeping the area, forced Stroff and Satterfield to get creative with their turkey hunting techniques. The pair of veteran turkey hunters used the terrain against the birds and closed in on the only gobbler they laid eyes on. Stroff avoided calling because of the high winds and used a sneak attack on the bird. This tactic proved to be the right choice as he took aim with his shotgun and tagged the biggest bird of the tournament. Despite the wide array of demanding elements, Savage Outdoors captured the World Championship.
