The Association of Collegiate Anglers has announced that Sunline will continue support of the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series and the students competing in it. In addition to extensive promotion of the complete lineup of Sunline products, the 2012 sponsorship includes special collegiate Sunline pricing for anglers competing in any of the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series events.
Established in 1977, Sunline has become a favorite of anglers across the world and the choice of many of America’s top touring professionals. The company produces every conceivable type of fishing line for every type of target and method. Materials include nylon, fluorocarbon, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, polyester (polyethylene terephthalate), and metal. The fundamental concept at Sunline has always been to develop a thinner, stronger fishing line.
According to Wade Middleton, Tournament Director for the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Championship Series, “Sunline has been supporting our college fishing efforts for years and we’ve offered specials to the students from time to time. Having a dedicated collegiate purchase program that now saves our anglers’ money throughout the year is great. The savings are substantial and I look for students to really take advantage of this great line at unbeatable prices.”
Students will have their first chance to get their hands on Sunline at the upcoming Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash, March 22-24, in Allen, Texas. Students may also take advantage of special collegiate pricing, courtesy of Sunline and the Association of Collegiate Anglers. Those students interested in taking advantage of this special offer, should email Danny@carecotv.com from their school email addresses.
