Wilsonville, OR — Crimson Trace, industry leader in laser sighting systems for personal defense firearms, began shipping newly designed product packaging to customers around the country earlier this week. This new design features a window front to showcase each individual product, while being capable of standing alone, stacked or hanging from a peg. The design of the packaging allows for all product specific information to be easily seen, read and absorbed on the retail floor by retailers and consumers alike.
After exhaustive research and listening to input from dealers of all sizes around the country, the goal was simple: Increase the retail floor presence of Crimson Trace while providing the retailer support by making all of the many selling features and product information on each individual box available to the consumer in a way that is easy to access, see and understand.
“As the leader in our industry, it’s important that we do all we can to set a high bar for every facet of the business – from quality manufacturing, patented technologies, marketing messages and now packaging” said Kent Thomas, Crimson Trace’s Director of Marketing. “Our dealer and retailer networks are extremely important to us – when they are successful, we are successful. Thanks to months of contributions from our retail partners, we’re confident this new vehicle to showcase and promote Crimson Trace will result in additional sales at the counter for them and allow a hands-on, informative and connective shopping experience for the consumer.”
Shipping in the new window style packaging now are the two Rail Master products. Next in line is the family of Laserguard products with the Lasergrips and Lightguard families to follow with all products being available August 1, 2012. The ‘original’ style packaging consists of a top and bottom fully enclosed black box which has proven successful over the last decade and will still be available for all products.
