Cummins Named Steiner Division Manager

Steiner, a world-leader in the manufacturing of hunting optics, announced the appointment of Aaron Cummins as Division Manager for North America. In this newly created position, Cummins will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategic plans, marketing programs, sales and account management programs across key market segments including marine, hunting, outdoor, and military/law enforcement. He will report directly to the general manager of Burris and Steiner, Rob Siemers.
Key responsibilities include analyzing sales and marketing data (forecasting), competitive positioning, promotions, training, and serving as the principal liaison between Steiner Germany and all U.S. customers.
Aaron brings more than a decade of experience in the shooting and hunting industry. Most recently, he held the position of Long Gun Product Manager for Kimber Manufacturing in Kalispell, Montana. Prior to that, he was a Marketing Analyst for Browning Arms in Morgan, Utah.
“We are pleased to have Aaron join the Steiner team,” said Siemers. “He not only brings a great deal of knowledge of the hunting industry, but most importantly, he brings his years of experience in strategic planning, marketing, sales and communication. We anticipate he will make significant contributions to the future growth of the Steiner product line in the U.S. market.”
Aaron is an MBA graduate from Eastern Washington University. He plans to relocate from Kalispell to Greeley, Colo.
