Pro Kayak Angler Drew Gregory and Jackson Kayak to Unveil New Fishing Models at the Outdoor Retailer Expo

WHAT: Professional kayak angler pioneer Drew Gregory will be appearing at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City presented by Outdoor Industry Association. Gregory, who will be attending on behalf of his sponsor Jackson Kayak, will be promoting his three signature series kayak fishing boats. The Coosa, ‘Cuda and Big Tuna are the increasingly popular vessels he helped design with the staff at Jackson Kayak. The collaborative effort has helped make the kayak manufacturer number one in the fishing market according to Leisure Trend’s Q1 sales report.
Additionally, Gregory and Jackson Kayak will be unveiling several new fishing models for the first time since their recent completion. Gregory will also be hosting seminars where he will demonstrate the versatility and practicality of the new fishing kayaks.
On Wednesday, Aug. 1, Gregory will be on the water to show off the new products at the expo’s open air demo held at Jordanelle State Park. The demo begins at 8 a.m. MDT and concludes at 4 p.m. Shuttles are provided from the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Beginning on Thursday, Aug. 2, Jackson Kayak members and products will be at booth number 39124 throughout the show.
On Saturday, Aug. 3 at 3 p.m., Gregory will be joined by SUP guru Ken Hoeve and Jackson Kayak product manager Damon Bungard for a presentation titled Fishing Innovation from Jackson. The presentation will be held at the Paddle Zone area on the trade show floor of the Salt Palace Convention Center.
