Trout Bum Hits the Road
OutdoorHub 10.18.12
Host Steve Brigman hits the road on the October episode of Ozark Trout Bum. He meets up with Mark Van Patten, host of The Tying Bench television show, at Montauk State Park, Mo., for a Healing Waters fundraiser. Then it’s was down to Mountain Home, Ark., for the annual Fly Fishing Fair.
“I visited with so many great anglers at both events about everything from sight-fishing big fall browns, to purchasing women’s waders,” Brigman said. “There’s as much information in this show as any we have done thus far.”
Trout Bum also features “Strategies for Success:” a how-to segment with veteran White River guide John Berry, who discusses double-fly rigs. This month’s “Focus on Conservation” segment features Paul Goodwin, vice -president of conservation for the South Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers.
