The International Hunter Education Association-USA is offering a special inventory clearance sale on its commemorative Henry Golden Boy .22 caliber lever-action rifles and Browning knives. Proceeds will benefit IHEA’s mission to promote safe and responsible hunting.
The rifle, offered in 2009 to honor the 60th anniversary of hunter education in North America, is available for $300 plus $50 for shipping and handling. The clearance price for the 60th anniversary knife is $75 plus $10 for shipping and handling. Shipping and handling fees for the knife are waived for those who purchase numbered gun and knife sets. The Browning knife and Henry rifle are priced below IHEA-USA cost.
The Henry rifle features the IHEA logo and “Celebrating 60 years of Hunter Education,” which are etched onto the left side of the receiver. The right side of the receiver is engraved with a custom design depicting a mentor and a youth along with “Safe Hunting is No Accident.” A custom serial number identifies each firearm in the series. The collectible Henry Golden Boy was named the Gun of the Year in 2001 by Guns and Ammo.
The anniversary knife is a Browning model 322571. This large drop point hunter knife was designed by Jim Crowell and comes with a top-grain leather sheath. The 5 ½ inch blade is made from 420HC carbon steel and has a satin finish. The handle is made from stabilized walnut. Only 500 of these knives were ever produced, including the 250 anniversary knives made for IHEA. The IHEA logo, edition number (X of 250), and “1949-2009 Celebrating 60 years of hunter education” is etched onto the left side of the blade. The knife’s serial number (X of 500) is etched onto the right side of the blade.
