A Crucial Decision Awaits for Keefer Brothers on Dropped: Project Yukon

‘Now or Never’ is the title of this episode and given the circumstances, it’s entirely appropriate! Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, brings audiences on a rollercoaster ride of emotions in the latest installment of Dropped: Project Yukon. The Keefer brothers’ top priority is stalking and taking a mature stone sheep on the treacherous peak of Fish Hook’s rocky face. The men are exhausted and running the gamut of emotions; however, when it’s time to make the BIG decision, the reward pays off tenfold.  Watch the ups and downs of Dropped: Project Yukon on Tuesday, February 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. A Sportsman Channel original series, produced in conjunction with Rusted Rooster Media, Dropped: Project Yukon airs exclusively on Sportsman Channel.

Day five of the incredible journey resumes as Keefer brothers and guide Logan Young spot a mature stone sheep near the top of Fish Hook’s steep peak. Casey and Logan decide to stalk the sheep up the mountain face while a thick fog bank rolls in and begins to severely inhibit their vision and concentration. As the fog continues to worsen, Casey and Logan begin to only see glimpses of the HUGE sheep. When push comes to shove, Casey can not locate the animal and the hunt ends in pure frustration.

The team wakes up to sunny skies on day seven, which means a renewed attitude and another day of tracking the elusive stone sheep. After another difficult journey to Fish Hook peak, the men spot the same sheep on the other side of the mountain. With daylight running low and the temperatures dropping, the brothers are faced with a game-changing decision.

“We factored everything into account, but in the end we decided to track the sheep,” said Casey Keefer, Co-Host of Dropped. “Trust me when I say I’m glad we decided to put on a serious stalk. We closed to gap between us and the sheep to about 300 yards and the rest is history.”
