Linden to Preview New Book at National Pheasant Fest/Quail Classic in Minnesota

Wingshooting USA TV’s creator/host Scott Linden will present two seminars daily during Pheasant Forever’s National Pheasant Fest/Quail Classic in Minneapolis starting Feb. 15. “What the Dogs Taught Me” will include key points from his upcoming book of the same name, to be released by Skyhorse Publishing in May.

Along with his second seminar, “Go West, Young Man, for Quail and other Critters,” this marks the fourth Pheasant Fest/Quail Classic at which Lindenwill present his lively, interactive seminars. More information on Linden’s new book is available at www.whatthedogstaughtme.com. Based on his on-camera and in-field experiences with over 200 hunting dogs, Linden’s book has been described by “Hunting with Hank” host Dez Young  thusly: “With his usual humility, and lack of an ‘I know it all’ attitude, Scott Linden presents the reader with a treasure trove of valuable information from training to the field.”

Author Tom McIntyre (The Snow Leopard’s Tale, Shooter’s Bible Guide to Optics) said:  “This fine, information- and insight-packed book by Scott Linden teaches us all a great lesson: Trust your bird dog. He knows what he’s barking about.”

Host and creator of the award-winning TV series Wingshooting USA, Scott Linden has learned a lot ... about upland hunting and bird dogs. But what's the point in learning, if it's not FUN? That's Scott's second objective. His job is to help you become a better shooter, dog owner and hunter, and enjoy the camaraderie and beauty of the hunt. Through video, articles, and seminars, Scott helps millions of beginning and seasoned bird hunters learn how their dog thinks - and acts - and how they can best utilize that information to shoot straighter, get the best performance from their dog, and put more birds in the bag.
