Zac Brown, front man for the Grammy-award winning Zac Brown Band, delights fans with sharp riffs and catchy lyrics. Today, knife enthusiasts share another of his passions—knives—through his factory knife company, Southern Grind, based in Atlanta, Ga.

A profile of the fledgling company appears in the May edition of BLADE® Magazine, on newsstands now. Meanwhile, Southern Grind will showcase its knives at the BLADE Show + Living Ready Expo in Atlanta May 31-June 2. It was at the 2012 BLADE Show where Brown’s Southern Grind made a lasting impression on the knife industry

The company uses state-of-the-art and traditional materials to create high-performance knives, with Brown fully involved in the creative process. The May BLADE storyoutlines the American workmanship that drives Southern Grind.
