Windex Wind Vane Now Features LED Upgrade

Boaters who own a Windex wind indicator, made by Davis Instruments, appreciate its sensitivity and responsiveness to even the smallest puffs of air. When fitted with a Windex Light, the vane and its reflector tabs become easily visible at night from anywhere on deck. For even better illumination, Davis has upgraded its Windex light with a bright, long-lasting LED.
Waterproof and non-corroding silver parts give the Windex light durability and long life. It fits under either the 10″ or the 15″ Windex vane, and also works with the J-Base mount for both. Additionally, the Windex light fits Davis Instruments’ universal masthead mount, which extends the Windex vane away from the masthead.
Besides now equipping its Windex Light with an LED, the company offers a replacement LED bulb for upgrading an existing Windex light.
