Richard Mann to Host Book Signing at Annual NRA Meetings & Exhibits in Texas

Richard Mann, author of Gun Digest Books’ Handgun Training for Personal Protection will appear as a special guest and will be signing copies of his new book at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits, May 3-5 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
Mann, a former police officer and U.S. Army serviceman, is a well-respected firearms authorities and a leading expert on handgun training. “I’ve spent most of my professional life carrying a handgun,” Mann said. “I hope the lessons I’ve learned and the stories that come with them can help regular folks, like me, to be better prepared with [their handguns].”
Mann will be available at various booths during the three-day NRA event. Fans can find the author signing a limited number of books at the following booths:
- Versacarry (#2046) May 3-5 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- XS Sights (#2617) May 3 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and May 5 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Galco (#4239) May 4 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.,
- Crimson Trace (#2547) May 3 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and May 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“I wrote Handgun Training for Personal Protection precisely for the citizen gun owner and I’m excited to have a chance to visit with them,” Mann said.
