Exotic Destinations Await on WFN’s “Escape and Explore” Marathon Saturday, May 11

WFN: World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, invites viewers to escape their comfort zone and explore beyond the waters of their backyards when WFN airs two presentations of Escape and Explore, a five-hour marathon of fishing adventures from exotic destinations around the globe, on Saturday, May 11 starting at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET.
“We all have our dream destinations; the ideal place we would like to travel to at some point in our lives,” said Pam Stinson, Senior Director of Marketing for WFN. “The locations we’re showcasing say adventure; all destinations that anyone would love to get away to and simply Escape and Explore.”
A new episode of WFN exclusive Belize Outdoors leads off both airings of the marathon beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET (see listing below for the complete Escape and Explore schedule) followed by an encore presentation of the season premiere episode of Belize Outdoors from May 4. Next, host Bill Boyce takes viewers to Tahiti, French Polynesia and The Seychelles in pursuit of world record catches with back-to-back episodes of IGFA Saltwater Adventures. The third hour of Escape and Explore includes episodes of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing and Inside Sportfishing filmed in The Bahamas and Costa Rica, respectively.
Stay on the water with a fresh new style of fishing show that features jaw-dropping action in stunning locations as Jim Sammons travels to New Zealand on a quest to find the biggest and most challenging game fish on The Kayak Fishing Show . Then, Ken Baldwin embarks on his next adventure, this time to Brazil, on Season on the Edge before the Escape and Explore marathon concludes with Wild Fisherman following Matt Hayes as he journeys to some of the world’s wildest sport fishing locations. In this episode, Matt joins enthusiastic surf fishing expert Wesley Peens in Mozambique – one of the last great sport fishing wildernesses – as he tries to catch the fish of a lifetime, the Giant Trevally.
