This Week on Gun Talk Radio: “Refuse to Be a Victim” Program

It’s an NRA program that is twenty years strong, updates from The Firearms Coalition, powder info from an industry leader, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Since 1993, the NRA’s “Refuse to Be a Victim” program has brought the message of “proactive safety and crime prevention methods” to more than 100,000 men and women with the help of more than 3,800 instructors. As part of National Safety Month, Community Outreach Department National Manager Eric Lipp drops by on Sunday to discuss the program, and how to get involved. For more information, visit http://refuse.nra.org/.

Jeff Knox, Director of The Firearms Coalition, stops in to discuss the upcoming confirmation hearings of B. Todd Jones as Director of the BATFE that begin next week (http://bit.ly/17rTibE), and updates on the Manchin-Toomey bill. Visit www.firearmscoalition.org for the latest news.

Hodgdon Powder Co.’s CEO, Tom Shepherd, also visits on Sunday to talk about where the powder is, the benefits of reloading, and more. Hodgdon addresses the powder shortage on their website – read more about it here: http://bit.ly/187XG0l.

In its 19th year of national syndication, Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk Radio airs live on Sundays from 2PM-5PM Eastern, and runs on more than 138 stations, plus on XM (Ch. 243) Satellite Radio. All Gun Talk shows can be downloaded as podcasts at http://www.guntalk.libsyn.com and Apple iTunes, or through one of the available Apps: Gun Talk App on Stitcher, the Gun Talk iPhone App, the Blackberry Podcast App, and the Gun Talk App for Android on Amazon. The Gun Talk Minute on XM also airs on XM 243, 244 and 246 and Fox Sports every day throughout the week. More information is available at http://www.guntalk.com.
