Wired2Fish.com, an online provider of freshwater fishing content and resources, has launched a new responsive website making it easier for anglers to access and find content using any device.
“The reasons for the Wired2Fish.com site change centered around the need for a better user experience including better organization of existing content, easier navigation, a cleaner interface and better SEO infrastructure,” Todd Hammill, Wired2fish COO, says.Jason Sealock, Wired2Fish vice president, says Wired2fish has had amazing growth each of the last three years, yet the team members still felt like they weren’t reaching their full potential in the fishing space on the Internet.
“We wanted training on writing more concise, useful content that folks could easily put to use on the water with a fully browser-aware site,” Sealock says. “So we worked side by side with Gray Loon on the design, while they trained us on best practices to write and shoot better content for anglers everywhere.”
The new website automatically detects if the web searcher is using a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer and immediately displays the most user-friendly content and image sizes for that screen size. The adaptable design makes it easier for readers to locate resources, get information on the latest products and trends, and find the answers to their fishing questions.
Wired2Fish.com focuses on educating and entertaining readers and viewers through quality articles, photography, fishing tackle reviews, regular giveaways and videos. Subscribers also receive a weekly email recap of the best content.
