This season, the BCQ crew wants to show more than just bagging big bucks – they want to encompass the entire story around working one piece of managed land. “We are working one piece of land for the majority of the season where we split the land into zones,” explains Chris Keefer. “Each zone has stipulations for trophy deer and management deer – how you can take each and during what season. It makes it much more challenging and real.”
Throughout the season, each episode builds on one another to create a strong, unified story line. “We wanted to really challenge ourselves in the field this year. Not only for our own gratification, but also to show viewers how you can manage a single piece of land to your benefit,” continued Chris.
Also this season, the brothers challenge the Rusted Rooster Media production house in an extensive turkey hunting two-part episode. Loyalties were divided among Team Chris and Team Casey to see who could be the most successful in a single turkey season.
