The National Rifle Association is proud to introduce a custom, one-of-a-kind collectible knife by Benchmade Knife Company commemorating the Remington/NRA National Rifle and Pistol Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio. Sales of the knife during the 2013 National Matches will support future NRA competitive shooting programs.
“Benchmade has been a big sponsor of NRA competitive shooting events,” said Dennis Willing, Director of NRA’s Competitive Shooting Division. “We are honored to be associated with such a fine company and we thank them for their unwavering support.”
A tradition at Camp Perry since 1907, the National Matches are divided into six phases of competition: Pistol, Smallbore 3-Position, Smallbore Prone, High Power, High Power Mid-Range and High Power Long Range. Competitors represent a vast array of experience levels, including novice shooters, Olympic medalists, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and international competitors.
“We are proud to support the National Matches at Camp Perry and the long tradition of competitive shooting it represents,” said Les DeAsis, owner of Benchmade Knife Company. “These matches are the pinnacle of all shooting sports the NRA conducts.”
