When country music star Chuck Wicks and his canine companions visit McMillan Outfitting, there is no denying they can, and will, leave their “mark” – in more ways than one. Sportsman Channel’s newest original series, Meet the McMillans, hosts country music artist and Dancing with the Stars phenom, Chuck Wicks, for early season bowhunting at McMillan Outfitting. The always entertaining ranch owner Tom McMillan knows exactly what he is getting with the rambunctious Wicks, but this time he and his family are presented a handful of surprises – both good and bad. McMillan Outfitting has a strong reputation for delivering big bucks and unforgettable memories. This episode is no exception and viewers will be highly entertained with the ‘big buck’ results. Don’t miss this original series episode on July 14 at 8:30 pm ET/PT exclusively on Sportsman Channel.
The hunting conditions are perfect and everything is calm until Chuck Wicks shows up for his long awaited bowhunt with friend Tom McMillan. There is only one problem – Wicks’ dogs (puppies) are not ‘potty trained’ and turn the McMillan lodge into a mess of epic proportions. The dogs certainly cause a family disruption, but the hunting is also spectacular in its own right. On his last day, Wicks spots a whitetail buck to his liking and connects! This is the largest buck taken with his bow and he could not be happier.
“Chuck is a good man, but it was more like ‘Hurricane Chuck’ when he and his dogs were finished with our lodge,” said Tom McMillan, host of Meet the McMillans. “The hunting was great and I couldn’t be more pleased for Chuck as he harvested the biggest buck of his bowhunting career. Not only did he take a buck, but my nephew also made his presence known in the field. Viewers will get their money’s worth when it’s all said and done.”
