North American Fishing Club, the premier community for anglers and outdoors enthusiasts, is pleased to announce the addition of Stephen Mitchell to lead its sales force team as National Sales Manager. Mitchell has been in the outdoor industry for more than 20 years – spending the bulk of his time at B.A.S.S. and ESPN Outdoors as the Advertising Director for the southern region and more recently as the southern Sporting Goods Manager for Field & Stream and Outdoor Life publications.
“Stephen is a seasoned sales manager and advertising pro with extensive angling and sales experience,” said Kurt Beckstrom, Editor-in-Chief for North American Fisherman. “With his background and love of the outdoors, he’ll make a powerful contribution to our sales team.”
At NAFC, Stephen’s main role is to lead the sales team to increased revenues and provide increased value for advertisers. “I am very excited to be working with the entire North American Media Group crew, especially with their established and well-known editors and hosts,” said Mitchell. “I plan on enhancing the perception of NAFC so advertisers can clearly see the great value we bring to the table. I feel very blessed to continue to be in the industry and am thankful for the opportunity.”
Stephen is based out of Alabama with wife, Melissa, five children and one grandchild.
