Sites promise more information and better information for anglers
Shakespeare is continually looking for new ways to improve consumer engagement with the brand. To that end, we recently re-launched Shakespeare-fishing.com and UglyStik.com.
Shakespeare is dedicated to its consumers and the enhanced site delivers upon the quality and dependability anglers have come to expect from one of America’s favorite tackle companies. The revamped site is easy to navigate from start to finish and anglers have the opportunity to learn about new products, purchase online or find the closest retailer.
“The re-launched Shakespeare site provides a modern, compelling way to interact with the brand.” said Josh Silva, Shakespeare Marketing Manager. “We’ve found that our anglers are looking for something that is not overcomplicated. They may not know exactly what they are looking for, and we want them to be able to find the best product for their needs without being overwhelmed. The site has been well thought out and we believe our consumers will enjoy the experience.”
In addition, Ugly Stik has launched a totally new site to focus on the variety of products that it offers. “While there are some overlapping features between the Shakespeare and Ugly Stik site, including a shared cart, we know there are hoards of Ugly Stik fans out there and we wanted to give them their own voice,” said Silva. “With the launch of the new Ugly Stik GX2 we felt this site was a perfect opportunity to provide anglers the ability to connect with our latest product videos, product information, our newest campaign, #theUglyTour, and a way to interact through our social media outlets.”
