This Week on American Airgunner—Airguns, Hogs, and Kabooms
OutdoorHub 07.22.13
Wild boar hunting has become a popular subject on TV and taking them down with an airgun isn’t exactly safe, but Steve Criner hosts the first part of this week’s show from Southern Arkansas where he and some friends take a .50 caliber Dragon Claw airgun into the brush for an up close and personal tangle with a big hog.
Last week’s episode had Rossi at the 2013 SHOT Show and this week he’s on the deck with airgun critic, Rick Eutsler, to find out what the Umarex SilencAir and ReAxis Gas Piston mean to the new Ruger Yukon air rifle. Then it’s off to the range to see who explodes through another leg of the competition in a shoot-out for $5000. Our five remaining Airgunner Challenge competitors sit down at an Iron Bear bench and a .25 caliber pre-charged pneumatic rifle equipped with a Hawke scope. While sighted in at one distance, the exploding target is at a further distance.
