It is time to set your DVRs for 3:30pm Eastern starting Wednesday July 24th on NBC Sports Network to record Larysa Unleashed! After the finale this week of Animal Planet’s Top Hooker fishing competition show which Larysa Switlyk drew a lot of national media buzz as the Bowfishing Babe, she is now onto her next adventure in her life. Her own hunting and fishing television show!
The timing couldn’t be more perfect, but Larysa Unleashed has been three years in the making. Switlyk, a Certified Public Accountant by trade, worked hard and followed her dreams of creating and hosting her own television show after she found her passion for hunting and fishing a few years back. Now it is time to share her passion for the outdoors and encourage more females and children to get involved in the outdoors.
Over the course of the 14 weeks, Larysa Unleashed will include bow-hunting for Wisconsin trophy whitetail with Congressman Ron Kind as her guide; Spanish ibex in the mountains near Barcelona; red stag in Argentina, whitetail in Texas and elk in New Mexico.
With a rod in hand she’s back in Spain fighting monster Wels catfish bigger than herself, off to Costa Rica jumping sails, dorado and a 300 lb. marlin, then back home to Florida’s famous Boca Grande Pass for prized silver kings in a Women’s Pro Tarpon Tournament.
For social media she’s produced an eye-catching website at LarysaUnleashed.com, a popular Facebook page and is attracting fans with two dozen YouTube videos for example YouTube – NBC Sports preview , or follow her on your smart phone with a SAMY app.
