Get ready for the upcoming hunting season and learn from the pros, with education booths, seminars, archery demonstrations and a hunting laser shot simulation booth. WHAT: Hunting Seminar Day at Barr Lake State Park
WHEN: Saturday, August 3, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Archery Range at Barr Lake State Park, 13401 Picadilly Rd, Brighton, CO
HOW: All activities are free, however a Parks pass is required to enter the park ($7 daily/$70 annual).
10 a.m. Nathan Zelinsky: Planning and scouting for your upcoming big game hunt
11 a.m. Jim Arnold: Waterfowl hunting
12 Noon Nathan Zelinsky: Aggressive archery and muzzleloader elk hunting
1 p.m. Dean Hendrickson: Mountain lion hunting with and without hounds
2 p.m. Q&A with the pros– No question will go unanswered!
