Colorado Hosts Hunting Seminar Day August 3 at Barr Lake

Join Barr Lake for their first annual hunting seminar day August 3. Get ready for the upcoming hunting season and learn from the pros, with education booths, seminars, archery demonstrations and a hunting laser shot simulation booth. Sponsors include Tightline Outdoors, Colorado Clays, A&A toppers, Sun Honda and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
WHAT: Hunting Seminar Day at Barr Lake State Park
WHEN: Saturday, August 3, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Archery Range at Barr Lake State Park, 13401 Picadilly Rd, Brighton, CO
HOW: All activities are free, however a Parks pass is required to enter the park ($7 daily/$70 annual).

10 a.m. Nathan Zelinsky: Planning and scouting for your upcoming big game hunt
11 a.m. Jim Arnold: Waterfowl hunting
12 Noon Nathan Zelinsky: Aggressive archery and muzzleloader elk hunting
1 p.m. Dean Hendrickson: Mountain lion hunting with and without hounds
2 p.m. Q&A with the pros– No question will go unanswered!
