This Week on American Airgunner — Rossi Vs a Horned Frog
OutdoorHub 07.26.13
It’s week five of American Airgunner 2013 and Rossi is back at TCU to witness how a match is actually run and then he suits up for a friendly competition against one of the Horned Frog’s national air rifle shooters—Catherine Green. Then it’s a round table discussion about CO2 technology in airguns. Tom Gaylord kicks it off with a little history on the subject, Rick Eutlser talks technically, and Jim Chapman is all about hunting.
In the Airgunner Challenge this week, two shooters belly up to the Airgunner Saloon with a 10-round Smith & Wesson 586 pellet pistol. Sarge and Sparky have a variety of small knock-downs, swingers, bottles, glass panes, and finally a bell when they’ve completed the course. It’s a close shoot-out with high-speed footage to see who will get to continue for a chance at a $5000 prize from Umarex USA and who has “run out of air”.
Next week, Rossi meets up with Mike Seeklander at the U.S. Shooting Academy for a training session using airguns. Tune in to see which of them has the quicker draw.
Watch each week during July, August, and September for a weekly keyword from Pyramyd Air for a chance to win a $500 gift certificate and join American Airgunner on Facebook for occasional giveaways and promotions.
