SIG SAUER Continues Support for Chaplain Emergency Relief Fund

SIG SAUER once again was host to the Chaplain Emergency Relief Benefit Match, with all of the match proceeds going to assist the Chaplain Emergency Relief Fund (CERF).

CERF provides financial assistance to military families who need help paying for auto repairs, housing, medical bills and utilities. In the past three years, the organization has helped more than 300 families with their needs thanks to generous donations from New Hampshire citizens, churches, Family Readiness Groups, and businesses. More than 99 percent of the contributions made to CERF are returned to military families.

“Military life can be stressful enough on spouses and families without having to worry about financial issues,” said Adam Painchaud, SIG SAUER Academy Director. “The Chaplain Emergency Relief Fund does such a great job helping our servicemen and women, this match is the least we can do to help.”

The Chaplain Emergency Relief Match returned to the SIG SAUER Academy for the third consecutive year. Since its inception, the match has become one of the largest in New Hampshire, with 110 shooters participating last year.
