HERCAMOSHOP Adds More Gunners to Field Staff

HERCAMOSHOP added 3 women to its field staff and 1 teen to its junior field staff this month. “As we continue to build our pro and field staffs with exceptional outdoor women, we also strengthen our outreach program, so that other women hunters can connect and relate to these women and what they’re doing outdoors,” said Shelly Ray, CEO of HERCAMOSHOP.

New field staffer Mia Anstine, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., owns and operates Wolf Creek Outfitters, Inc., with her husband. As a hunting guide and freelance writer, she shares her outdoor adventures at her own blog, “My Many Outdoor Adventures,” and her bylines appear in Western Whitetail magazine, Women’s Outdoor News, and The Shooting Channel. Most recently, she began blogging at Beretta’s blogspot. She is an NRA-certified instructor. On the pro staff of World Wild Outdoor TV and on the field staff for Próis Hunting and Field Apparel for Women, Mia practically lives outdoors.

Mia’s daughter, affectionately known in the industry as “Little Gal” (LG), is now on the junior field staff. As the star of her mom’s column at Women’s Outdoor News, called “Mia & the Little Gal,” LG also keeps her mom busy as a chauffeur, to 4-H, basketball, volleyball, and the junior YHEC (Youth Hunters Education Challenge) club. Her shooting sports include muzzleloader, shotgun, .22, and archery. LG also loves fishing – spin fishing, bow fishing, saltwater fishing, and recently, fly fishing. In fact, her school promotes hunting and fishing and she holds the title of “Outdoors Woman of the Year.”

Marti Davis can be seen working at trade shows and in Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s as a staff member for Knight & Hale, Moultrie Products, and Mossy Oak. Hailing from Willard, Mo., this hunting machine pens a column for Women’s Outdoor News, sponsored by HERCAMOSHOP, titled “Marti Davis Afield.” Her day job finds her at a busy quarry in southwest Missouri.

Barbara Baird is a freelance writer in outdoor and travel markets, and lives in the Ozarks of Missouri. As the publisher of Women’s Outdoor News, she always is on the lookout for the next story and the best talent in the industry to tell that story. She also writes the news blog at Realtree.com, is a contributing editor to SHOT Business magazine, and pens columns at Turkey Country and Show Me Missouri magazines. Baird is an NRA-certified handgun instructor and Range Safety Officer and an avid hunter. She, too, represents Próis Hunting and Field Apparel for Women, on its pro staff.
