Ruffed Grouse Society Schedules Field Trial in St. Ignace, MI

The Andy Ammann Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will host a Field and Fun Trial at Setters Rest Kennels, 7160 Jones Road, Jackson, MI on Saturday, September 7, 2013 beginning at 7 a.m. (registration 6:30 a.m.)

According to Mike LeMasters, the Andy Ammann Armature Gun Dog Stake is open to all bird dog breeds (pointing, flushing and retrieving), and is limited to 22 dogs. Entries limited to RGS members. Membership applications are available on site. Registration is $50.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and competitors who do not exhibit safe and proper etiquette with their guns will be asked to leave the grounds.
