New Steiner 5x Military Scope Series 3-15x50mm Now Available

In 2012, Steiner set a new standard for German-made riflescopes with the introduction of the 5-25x56mm military riflescope. Based on that success, the 5x line was expanded this year with two new models – 1-5x24mm and 3-15x50mm. Both are designed to better meet the demands of military users the world over. They incorporate the same features and quality that drew critical acclaim for the 5-25x and they feature etched, illuminated reticles that are rated for daytime, low-light and night vision use.
The new Military 3-15×50 is now available and shipping to dealers across the country. It is the perfect match for long-range tactical rifles and is versatile enough for an AR platform. Offering a true 5x magnification, Duo-Scale elevation knobs that provide both visual and tactile indication of rotational position, and a choice of G2 Mil Dot or MSR reticles.
It also features a rugged 34mm, one-piece extruded aluminum main tube and world-class Steiner optical elements, featuring broadband anti-reflective lens coating for maximum light transmission. The glass-etched reticle is located on the front focal plane so sub-tension remains unchanged over the magnification range for quick and easy target identification, ranging and accuracy. The digital illumination offers 11 intensity levels (seven night and four day) and a battery-saver position between each level with two OFF positions at each end. The digital illumination and parallax adjustment are combined in a left-side turret for comfort and ease of use, with or without gloves on.
Built to military specifications, the 3-15x is fully waterproof and shockproof. Retail price is $2,895.99 with the G2 Mil Dot and $2,995.99 with the MSR reticle.
