It’s a mayor against MAIG, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Brian Maher, Mayor of the village of Walden in New York, recently spoke out about his dealings with NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Maher says that he was never told about the groups’ true intent when he signed up and was told it was a group for “safer communities”. When he asked to be taken off their list of supporters, the group offered him financial incentives to stay with MAIG.
