Idaho Department of Fish & Game to Host 3D Archery Shoot on August 24 in St. Anthony

The Idaho Department of Fish & Game is holding a 3D archery shoot at the Sand Creek Wildlife Management Area headquarters building located at 2885 N. River Rd, St. Anthony, Idaho. The course will be open from 11:00am -1:00pm on Saturday August 24th. The address can be misleading on some online maps but is easy to find if you cross the Fun Farm bridge heading North and take a right upon crossing the bridge. The road dead ends at the Sand Creek Headquarters. We will have multiple 3D targets to shoot at with realistic shot scenarios including ; from a tree stand, wooded areas, and in the field. Most targets are field tip only but some broadhead targets will be available for sighting in.

This course is meant for all ages and skill levels. We will have several skills tests for more advanced archers and a beginners area set up for first timers. Please come and join us in getting some extra practice in before heading out into the field this archery season or to find out more information about taking a Bow Hunter Education course.
