Montana FWP Citizen Advisor Meeting Set for Aug. 15 in Missoula

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) Region 2 Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet Thursday, Aug. 15 in Missoula.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the FWP regional headquarters in Missoula (3201 Spurgin Road).  FWP Director, Jeff Hagener, and FWP Commissioner, Gary Wolfe, will briefly address the committee.

The 19-member CAC’s role is to provide input and guidance to FWP on a diverse array of issues—from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation and law enforcement. CAC members serve four year terms and represent a variety of west-central Montana communities and natural resource interests.

FWP has CACs in every region of the state, and all meetings are open to the public. Visit fwp.mt.gov/regions/r2/cac/ for more details or call FWP at (406) 542-5500.
