This Week on Winchester Deadly Passion: Double the Fun in the West
OutdoorHub 08.20.13
This week on Winchester Deadly Passion, host Melissa Bachman tries for her first antelope in the fields of Nebraska and she also has a tag for early season whitetail. But, every hunting area has its challenges and for Nebraska, it’s the increasing winds. Tune in to see if Melissa gets her chance on her first antelope on the Pursuit Channel on Tuesdays at 6:30 am, Wednesdays at 1:30 pm and Sunday at 7:30 pm ET. Catch a preview of the show here.
Melissa first practices with her bow in the windy conditions and finds it difficult placing her pin on the target. She determines she won’t take a shot any further out than 30 yards. And unfortunately, that short distance does her no good as she sits in the ground blind later that evening watching whitetail bucks graze in the field at 70 yards out.
For her first attempt at antelope, Melissa sits near a watering hole and waits for a big buck to come strolling by. When she finds one, her bow misses the mark! Kicking herself for that shot placement, and done with the windy conditions of Nebraska, she packs it in and heads to Montana.
Once in Montana, will Melissa finally get her first antelope she’s been waiting for all season?
