B.A.S.S. Elite Series Pro to run 201XL Evolution beginning with 2014 season

B.A.S.S. Elite Series Pro Mike McClelland will continue his professional bass fishing career competing in a Stratos boat following the renewal of his partnership with the company.

The 45-year-old pro from Bella Vista, Ark., began his partnership with Stratos prior to the start of the 2011 Elite Series season where he has since competed from his Stratos 210 Champion Elite. Beginning with the 2014 season, McClelland will compete from Stratos’ acclaimed 201XL Evolution.

“I’m excited to continue my relationship with Stratos and to be running a 201XL next year,” said McClelland, whose career accomplishments include three Elite Series wins and more than $1.38 million in B.A.S.S. earnings. “I have confidence in the brand and know that my new rig is tournament-proven and packed with the types of features that you need when you make your living on the water. And the boat is definitely fast so I’ll be passing more people on the water from here on out.”
