Moose Hunting the Lower 48 – Silver Spurs Outfitter & Lodge –
There are quite a few opportunities to hunt moose in the lower 48 if drawn for a tag. However; hunting Idaho moose is becoming increasingly difficult due to predation from wolves. Rick Koesel with Silver Spur Outfitters & Lodge joins Jim and Trav to talk about the moose hunting opportunities here in the U.S. and how predation is affecting that.
Bighorn Sheep – Mule Shoe Outfitters –
Hunting bighorn sheep is physically demanding and a once in a lifetime experience. Justin Wright from Mule Shoe Outfitters in Wyoming discusses his different techniques for hunting Bighorn Sheep. He also talks about where they hunt and breaks down your odds for filling your tag with a trophy.
Mountain Goats – The Toughest Hunt –
Mountain goat hunting is said to the be the toughest hunt you can take on in North America. The only thing more difficult than the hunt itself is your chance of being drawn for one of the few tags available. Kay Clark from Wyoming Wilderness Outfitters talks with Jim and Trav about the behavior of mountain goats and the custom hunts they offer for those who draw a tag.
