Network’s Hunt.Fish.Feed Public Affairs Initiative and Affiliate Video Earn Nods in Excellence
Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is pleased to announce it has been named a finalist in two categories in the CTAM Mark Awards, an annual competition that recognizes outstanding achievement and excellence in marketing from networks, cable companies, and their agencies. Award recipients are known throughout the cable and entertainment world as “best in class.” Sportsman Channel is the only outdoor network receiving a finalist spot in this year’s competition.
Sportsman’s Hunt.Fish.Feed – a unique public affairs program that taps a new food source of game meat and fish donated by sportsmen to help feed those in need across America – is a finalist in the “Partnership with a Non-Profit/Events” category for their work with shelters and food pantries.
Sportsman’s video of their 2012 ‘sizzle reel,’ which is a compilation of the networks best programming to show affiliates what it has to offer, is also a finalist in the “Affiliate Marketing/Video” category. Sportsman Channel took home the gold in this category in 2011 with their “Video on Demand-Texas” affiliate marketing video and a silver in 2012 with their video “Sportsman Channel and Xfinity Home Services.”
These latest honors add to Sportsman’s earlier awards this year from CableFAX and promotion/design industry association Promax BDA for programming and marketing excellence in 2012-2013.

The CTAM Mark Award Winners will be announced on September 10.
