Oregon Anglers Can Continue to Keep Cabezon

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife announced today that the recreational cabezon season off the Oregon coast will be extended, possibly through the end of the year.

The cabezon season was originally scheduled to close Sept. 30, 2013. However, because the 2013 cabezon harvest quota will not be met by that date, anglers will be able to keep cabezon through Dec. 31, 2013 or until the quota is met, whichever comes first.
