When competitors hit the range this weekend for the International Defensive Pistol Association’s 2013 Smith & Wesson Live Free Or Die State IDPA Championship it’s going to be thanks to support from sponsors like Safariland.
Safariland, one of the leading holster brands and longtime supporter of the shooting sports, joins Apex Tactical Specialties, Brownells, Comp-Tac Victory Gear, iMarksman, New England Tactical, RangeLog, Ruger, SIG SAUER, Taurus and Smith & Wesson, the title sponsor of the match, as one of the main sponsors of the sold out championship event taking place October 18-20 at the Pioneer Sportsmen Club in Dunbarton, N.H.
“The return of the New Hampshire IDPA state championship, the Live Free Or Die match, is one of the big stories in the New England IDPA community. And the number of industry icons, like Safariland, that are supporting the match has got every shooter excited,” said Ken Lambert, match director. “On behalf of the match, the staff and the Granite State IDPA shooters, I want to thank Safariland for all they’ve done for IDPA.”
“Safariland has a long tradition of promoting the shooting sports, and those competing every week across the country. We are proud to be among the companies supporting New Hampshire’s fast growing IDPA community and the Live Free Or Die State Championship,” said Scott Carnahan, Vice President, Equipment Category Marketing, The Safariland Group.
In addition to determining the New Hampshire state title, the match will also serve as the final leg of the King of New England contest presented by Apex Tactical. The 17th Annual Massachusetts State Championship and the New England Regional, both sponsored by Smith & Wesson, make up the first and second legs, respectively, of the newly announced series.
