Crimson Trace Announces M3G 2014 Dates

Crimson Trace, the leading brand of laser sights and tactical lighting products for firearms, will again host the world’s premier 3-Gun competition—the 3rd Annual Midnight 3-Gun (M3G). This unequalled night shooting competition will take place outside of Bend, Oregon on August 13-16, 2014 at the Central Oregon Shooting Sports Association range.
This popular Midnight 3-Gun event (it is not an invitational in 2014) takes place at night in complete darkness. The previous competitions in this series have found competitors seeking and engaging targets into the wee hours of the morning. Using rifles, pistols and shotguns, the competitors race the clock—and the rising sun— for best times and points. The competition must close before sunup. Some of the top 3-gunners in the nation, such as M3GI 2013 winner Daniel Horner, have set the bar high for other competitors.
Additionally, competitors are encouraged to use laser equipped firearms. If the winners use lasers on all of their firearms in all competitions, they could win up to $4,000 additional prize dollars. It’s all lasers and action as the world-class shooters shoot their way through complex shooting lanes and varied situations—in deep darkness.
On the list of returning M3G sponsors for the event is the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Registration for previous attendees opens on November 12, 2013.
