Gary Ramey Named General Manager/Chief Operating Officer for Heizer Defense LLC

Heizer Defense, a high technology leader in aerospace and firearms manufacturing, announces the addition of industry veteran, Gary Ramey, as General Manager/COO for Heizer Defense LLC.
He will oversee all functions including Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Supply Chain. “Gary brings a wealth of knowledge to Heizer Defense gained from many years of experience in Firearms, Optics, Apparel and Outdoor Accessories. He has held a leadership role with market-leading brands, and we are thrilled to have him on our management team” said Tom Heizer, Principal of Heizer Companies. “His extensive experience in the firearms and outdoors industry includes Beretta, United Industries, Tasco and USA Shooting. His record of success will make Gary a strong asset and his expertise in strategy, marketing, sales and product development will position us for success”.

Gary Ramey has more than 25 years’ experience in strategic marketing with market-leading brands and launching new products.
He earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, PA and a Bachelor in Business degree from the University of Miami, Florida.
In addition, he has a Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University and is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.
